Shot List

This shot list was created by Jordan and Joe whilst Faye and I created the storyboard, this was done to a professional standard so when filming we were able to check what equipment we needed and what type of camera shot was necassary for the particular shot. The shot list was split up into four different scenes in our story. With having the length of the shot, this enables the camera man to film the particular scene for the required amount of time with a couple more added on, allowing for less effort needed when editing the film down. It would also be helpful when filming the scene itself with having the props required for the shot, this would allow for less continuity errors as we would check we have the necassary props for the shot.

Storyboard

As learned from last year, an important part of the planning stage is the creation of the storyboard. Using the shot list Faye and I worked together to make this, with myself drawing the images and Faye writing about each shot. As filmmakers this allows you to see what your film could potentially look like, also contributing in making changes as you may not think a particular shot would look good on camera. I carefully numbered each picture with the shot number making it easier for Faye when annotating the picture.

Final

Script

There were a couple of changes we made to our film script, most particularly the way in which we presented it. The presentation of the script was altered to mimic a more professional standard that filmmakers often choose. This type of layout is present in all major screenplays, with the inclusion of the font 'Courier', which is commonly used, as one formatted script page in 'Courier' font equals roughly one minute of screen time. Although there wasn't a large amount of dialogue within our film it is still highly important we create a script, as a typical film script would also include 'actions' and other important features such as a 'transition' and 'scene heading'.
