This was taken directly from the BBFC official website, this year we had to follow the guidelines for a 12/12A film and be careful not to include material only suitable for a 15 or 18 rated film. From these guidelines we would ensure we would not break the rules regarding a 12/12A film as otherwise we would have to rate it as a 15 or 18. This page clearly displayed all the materials that we must look out for when rating our movie, such as not to have any strong language, nudity or any glamorisation of drug use. When picking the storyline and mapping out our storyboard and shot list we ensured we would stick to the guidelines.
